Overview
What it is: Sprezz helps a government contractor win contracts and then deliver them. On the winning side you track opportunities (government notices worth a look), run pursuits (the bids you are chasing), and write proposals. On the delivery side you run each awarded contract as a program: what is owed to the customer and when, customer scores, audits, money, and contract changes. An AI assistant, Assist, works across all of it.
Who uses it: everyone in the company who touches a bid or a contract. What you see depends on the access you were given, so two people can see different menus.
Common Tasks
I'm new: where do I start?
- Sign in. You land on your Dashboard (or Growth Home if you only work on the Growth side).
- Read the line under the greeting. It says how many things are waiting on you and whether any are overdue.
- Look at Waiting on you. If it says Nothing is waiting on you., nothing is assigned to you yet.
- If the page shows Getting Started, follow its steps: Ask Assist, Upload a document, or Open Registries.
- Open the area for your job from the left menu (see "Find your way around").
- Not sure what to do? Press Ctrl+J (⌘J on a Mac) or click Assist at the top right and ask, for example "What needs my attention this week?"
For a step-by-step list for your role, see Your first day, by role.
Who can: everyone who can sign in.
Find your way around
- The left menu lists the areas you can open. From the top: Dashboard, then Workflows (Growth, Delivery), then Company Registry (Projects, Registries), then Tools (Chat, Documents, SharePoint, Delegate my access). Administrators also see Admin.
- Groups fold up. Click a group name (for example Tools) to open or close it.
- Hide the menu with Ctrl+\ (⌘\ on a Mac) to get more room. On a phone the menu shows icons only.
- Your name at the bottom of the menu opens Settings, Help, and Sign out.
- The top bar has Back, the page trail (breadcrumbs), Search, Assist, the light/dark switch, Report a bug, and Notifications.
- Inside a program the left menu changes to that program's own pages (Home, Chat, Delivery Management, Program Health, Contract Details, People & Relationships, Program Administration, Documents and Mods).
- Inside a project or proposal the left menu shows that project's pages, and the top strip shows the project name with a picker to switch projects.
Who can: everyone.
Jump to a page by typing
- Click Search in the top bar, or press Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac).
- Type part of a page name, for example "Registries" or "Documents".
- Pick the result. You go straight to that page.
The search box offers the main areas: your home page, Pursuits and Opportunities (if you have Growth access), Delivery, Projects, Registries, Chat, Documents, SharePoint, Settings, and Admin for administrators. On the Chat page, Ctrl+K jumps to the chat search instead.
Who can: everyone.
What does each area do?
- Dashboard: your day. What is waiting on you, what is due in the next five working days, and headline numbers for the programs and pursuits you can see. Open it from Dashboard at the top of the left menu.
- Growth Home: the home page for people who only work on the Growth side: their company portfolio, active work, and what needs attention.
- Growth: winning work. It opens a page with three cards: Pursuits (the bids you are chasing, from first signal to submission), Opportunities (federal notices and tracked opportunities), and Landscapes (market views grouped by agency, vehicle, or theme). Open it from Growth in the left menu.
- Delivery: running awarded contracts. It opens a page with cards for Command Center (rollups across programs), Organization, Registries, Programs, Audit Templates, Proof & Evidence Board, and Delivery Calendar (every deadline across your programs). Open it from Delivery in the left menu.
- Programs: one awarded contract or task order each. Open Delivery, then Programs, then click a program.
- Projects: workspaces that hold related files and chats: a proposal, a contract, a pursuit, or a general project. A new contract project is how a program gets created. Open it from Projects in the left menu.
- Registries: the shared company-wide lists: companies, contacts, government organizations, contracts, capabilities, contract vehicles, labor categories (LCATs, the job titles a contract prices), the rate book, role types, and pricing sheets. Open it from Registries in the left menu.
- Documents: the files you have uploaded and the documents the app made for you. SharePoint lets you browse your connected SharePoint files. Both are under Tools.
- Chat: the full-page assistant, with your chat history. The Assist button opens the same assistant as a side panel on any page.
- Library: reusable content (templates, proof points, narratives, evidence) for people with Growth access. It is reached from Waiting on you when something is shared with you, not from the left menu.
- Settings: your profile, notifications, history, appearance, SharePoint connection, and your bug reports. Open it from your name at the bottom of the left menu.
Who can: each area shows only for people who can use it. See "Why can't I see something?"
Go back to my home page
- Click the Sprezz logo at the top of the left menu, or Dashboard in the menu.
- If you only have Growth access, both take you to Growth Home instead.
- The Back arrow in the top bar returns to the page you were on before.
Who can: everyone.
Why can't I see something?
What you can see depends on the role you hold and where you hold it (the whole company, a business unit, or one program). The app hides what you can't use instead of showing a dead link.
- No Growth in your menu: Growth (Pursuits, Opportunities, Landscapes, Library) needs Growth access. If you open one of those pages anyway you see No Growth access. Ask your administrator.
- The menu says No areas yet — ask an admin: you have no workflow area yet. Ask your administrator.
- A program is missing from Programs: you are not on that program. A program lead adds people on the program's Roles page, or an administrator grants access.
- You open a program link and see You don't have access to this program: click Request access, choose View or Contribute, add a reason if you like, and click Send request. A reviewer is notified. Your request shows Requested — pending review until someone decides.
- The Dashboard says Delivery: no programs are shared with you.: you are on no program yet. Click How access works or ask your program lead.
- A tile or number is hidden or shows dashes: some roles see money and contact details masked. That is your role's setting, not missing data.
Who can: anyone can ask. Access is granted by a program lead (for their own program team) or an administrator. Administrators manage people under Admin.
What is a program's Home page?
When you click a program you land on its Home:
- A greeting, and a badge that says Audit-ready or Not audit-ready, with how many audit checks pass.
- The program's headline numbers, and its deliverables for the period.
- Do Next: the few actions that matter most on this program right now, in order (for example Check late deliverables or Record this month's financials).
- On the right, Operational State and the contract facts (PIID, the contract number; award date; value; customer).
See the Program Lead Guide for what each item means.
Who can: anyone on the program.
